My name is Hilde I'm a 40-something Dutch ex-pat in the UK. I married an English engineer and am owned by a gorgeous Wegie (Norwegian Forest Cat) called Leija.
I work as a service desk analyst which basically means that I try to fix computer problems remotely which I enjoy tremendously. Before I settled in the UK, I lived in several countries mostly working in the tourist industry.
Having recently rediscovered my passion for nail polish I've starting collecting and it has turned into an obsession. I'm trying to stay away from eBay because looking at nail polishes there usually gets me in trouble.
Next to frantically collecting nail polishes I enjoy reading, photography and travelling. Almost all the pictures on my blog are taken on my phone (Samsung Galaxy S III), I have tried to take pictures of my manis with my Canon EOS 50D but it doesn't seem to want to do what I want it to do, so for now I'm sticking to my phone's camera.
